Job Description: Interpretation of blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished tooling, sequence of operations and set-up requirements. Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, attachments, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, and grinders. Calculate and set controls on machine and test run machine.
