Duties:
- Stay up to date on the latest machinery, tooling and material trends/deals
- Prepare and submit purchase orders for tooling, materials and machinery
- Verify receipts and payments
- Manage delivery for all purchased goods
- Resolve any shipping, payment, or inventory issues
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships
- Purchasing control; keep appropriate paperwork and documents needed for future purchasing reference
Requirements:
- Purchasing experience – thorough knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures
- Inventory control experience
- Strong knowledge or experience with metal tooling/materials is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication, time management and organization skills
